Sploot is open from 8am 8pm, 7 days / week. Our veterinarians work 4 days a week with 10 hour shifts, and NO night shifts - ever.

Qualifications & Job Responsibilities*
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care, both primary and urgent care, to dogs and cats.
Duties will include performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, conducting surgical procedures, and providing preventive care.
Strong communication skills are essential, for both successful team collaboration, as well as pet parent support!
- You have a DVM / VMD degree with an Illinois State veterinary license in good standing
- You have at least 12-18 months of experience in general medicine and / or surgery
- You’re passionate about providing the best possible pet care, as well as being a part of fostering an actual healthy, supportive environment for the medical and admin team.
- Previous experience in emergency medicine, urgent care and dental procedures is a plus!
