Senior Field Inspectors (Bridges) On-site
We are seeking experienced and certified Senior Field Inspectors to join our client's team for the oversight and inspection of Design-Builder's Work at the Robert F.
Kennedy Bridge. The role involves ensuring that all work activities comply with the Design-Build Contract requirements.Key Responsibilities : Perform detailed inspections and oversight of the Design-Builder's Work activities to confirm compliance with contract requirements.
Conduct shop fabrication and field weld inspections as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI). Oversee and inspect shop and field painting activities and processes.
Ensure all work is performed in line with New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) guidelines on erosion and sediment control.
Provide part-time oversight of miscellaneous Design-Builder's Work as required.Qualifications : Certification : Must hold a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
Training : Completion of the NYSDEC-endorsed four (4) hour training course on erosion and sediment control. Experience : Substantial experience in similar bridge inspection projects.
Painting Inspection : Must be NACE Level I certified or have successfully completed the SSPC Bridge Coating Inspection. General Certification : NICET certification or other recognized certifications, or be acceptable by MTA C&D.
