Sous Chef – Senior Living Management (Beachwood, OH)
Base pay range : $22.00 / hr - $24.00 / hr

This role focuses on full-scope, hands-on production cooking in the Community Culinary Services Department and maintaining a high standard of quality service and cleanliness.
- Exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and operational organization at all times.
- Adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards.
- Supervise kitchen employees.
- Produce and serve menu cycle programs compliant with required nutritional / dietary criteria as per local regulations and policies.
- Demonstrate cooking standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production.
- Assist with serving meals and ware washing as necessary.
- Periodically visit residents to evaluate food service (quality, quantity, temperature, appearance); conduct evaluations and implement revisions to improve service.
- Represent the community in a warm, inviting manner that supports a positive marketing environment.
- Support creating a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
Qualifications
Associates or Bachelors degree in culinary arts preferred.Culinary degree preferred.Minimum of three years experience as a Chef / Kitchen Manager in restaurant / senior living or equivalent environment.Position Wages : $22.00 - $24.00 per hour.
