First Shift Logistics Specialist Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Logistics Specialist for a company based inthe Ballantyne area of NC.
As a Specialist, Logistics, you will play a crucial role in supporting abrokerage operations team by performing track and trace functions for our customers.
This position requires a proactive individual who can manage logistics operations, including order entry, routing, dispatching, and traffic coordination. Pay Rate
$18.00 to $20.00perhour depending on experience Schedule and Hours
Monday throughFriday,8 : 00 am to 5pm. Logistics Specialist Duties and Responsibilities Maintain customer profile information and enter load details from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system.
Update account managers on problematic loads and the actions taken to resolve issues; communicate load statuses to receivers and customers.
Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring loads arrive on time and in good condition.Take check calls from drivers to confirm on-time delivery;
validate all load data before marking loads as delivered for accounting purposes.Investigate and document product overages, shortages, and damages.
Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments as needed; accept or decline loads based on account managers' direction.Provide detailed directions and instructions to ensure drivers are properly routed.
Logistics Specialist Qualifications and Requirements 1 year of logistics experience and / or general knowledge of the transportation industry.
High school diploma or equivalent.Experience in writing routine reports and correspondence.Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute instructions provided in written, verbal, or diagram form. Job Type
