We are looking for a visionary to develop our communication strategies, enhance our brand presence, and engage effectively with various partners.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful communication initiatives across multiple channels and managing media relations and crisis communications.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like :
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee internal and external communications, including corporate messaging, executive communications, media relations, public relations, and social media.
- Create compelling marketing communications campaigns to support bids and sales campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external collaborators, including executives, media, customers, and industry officials.
- Act as a deputy to the Head of Communications for Siemens Mobility North America while leading a small team.
To Excel in This Role, You Have :
- Experience leading and developing a small team.
- Proven ability to develop and implement creative campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistency in communication.
- Strong media relations experience, with a deep understanding of cultivating relationships with reporters and securing press coverage.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills to craft impactful communications, narratives, and campaigns for tradeshows and events.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience with B2B and B2G communications, particularly with technical storylines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- More than 15 years of experience working in an agency or corporate communications setting is preferred.

This position can be based in Lexington, NC or Sacramento, CA. We offer a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
Details regarding our benefits can be found here : https : / / www.benefitsquickstart.com / siemens / index.html . The base salary range for this position in Lexington, NC, is $154,100 - $181,400 and in Sacramento, CA is $169,600-$199,400, and the annual incentive is 20% of the base salary.
The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
