Implementation Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead our contingent vendor management systems (VMS) implementation team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, experience with VMS systems, and a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

This role will involve overseeing the implementation of VMS solutions for our clients, ensuring that project goals are met and client satisfaction is achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Management :

• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resources, and budgets.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of project phases.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful delivery.

Client Engagement :

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation process.
• Understand client requirements, expectations, and business needs to tailor the VMS solution accordingly.
• Provide regular updates to clients on project status and address any concerns or issues

Team Leadership :

• Lead and motivate the implementation team, including consultants, developers, and support staff.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring team members are aligned with project goals.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team.

Risk Management :

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Address and resolve issues as they arise to minimize impact on project outcomes.
• Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.

Quality Assurance :

• Ensure the VMS solution meets all technical and functional requirements.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation to guarantee system performance and reliability.
• Oversee the development of training materials and user documentation.

Reporting and Documentation :

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes.
• Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Document lessons learned and best practices for future implementations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing VMS implementations or similar technology projects.
• Strong understanding of contingent workforce management and vendor management systems.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project challenges.
