Vice President of Clinical Services- Home Health and Hospice

Home Health and Hospice VP of Clinical Services, Compliance, and Quality Assurance CommuniCare’s Home Health and Hospice divisions are growing and need to add a Home Health and Hospice VP of Clinical Services, Compliance, and Quality Assurance to support the immediate growth of start-up branches throughout the Midwest and current operations.

The ideal candidate will be an expert in knowing the ends and outs of the Home Health and Hospices initial accreditation processes through CHAP.

Utilizing the existing internal network of qualified clinicians and employees will be critical in reducing start-up costs and staying within the allotted budget.

Having experience with relevant accreditation processes, quality program development, clinical education, and HHVBP will be the foremost attributes needed for this position.

Repetitive experience with the initial accreditations phases for associated surveys will be highly valued in finding the right fit.

Purpose of Position

The Home Health and Hospice VP of Clinical Services, Compliance, and Quality Assurance will be accountable for providing strategic innovation and operational insights while supporting the CEO’s vision and execution strategy.

This position will be vital in supporting the exponential growth of the Home Health and Hospice Division. Additional positional purposes include :

• Provide field insights to the executive leadership with an emphasis on overseeing quality and compliance within the defined service areas to ensure excellence in the care experience of the patients.
• Participates in the general management of the Home Health and Hospice development, application, and assessment of divisional procedures, policies, programs, standards, and services consistent with the mission of providing exceptional in home care.
• Fosters an unrelenting focus and climate of urgency that balances the opportunity to transform care delivery with current clinical realities.
• Guides regional teams, fostering collaborative planning, innovation, and decision-making.
• Focuses on maximizing operational efficiencies.

Essential Functions and Job Requirements

• The ability to travel up to 75% of the time (Mileage reimbursement provided).
• Seasoned with HH and Hospice Regulations.
• A proven track history with a minimum of 4 years managing clinical reviews within the HH and Hospice field will be needed to ensure OASIS and other government regulations are met.
• Prior HH and Hospice survey experience is needed. Specifically, full cycle CHAP accreditation experience is preferred.
• Leads the process of formatting the new Home Health and Hospice branhces with a stress on the development and achievement of goals while still supporting the continuum of care within the CommuniCare network.
• Facilitates the development and implementation of integrated clinical service delivery platforms across the Home Health division.

Ensures the coordination of actions and realization of service efficiencies that drive increased clinical quality, patient safety, and enhanced patient and physician satisfaction and responsiveness to marketplace growth and needs.

Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations.

Educational Requirement

Candidates with a clinical degree and relevant work experience will qualify for this position. An active RN clinical license is highly sought for this role.
