Base Pay Range : $79,000.00 - $134,300.00 Annually

The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support.

Job Description / Preferred Qualifications

As a DevOps / Infrastructure engineer you will work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate our software services.

You will be responsible for analyzing requirements, implementing, testing, and maintaining automated solutions. This will include creating and managing container-based build and deployment environments, using "As Code" principles such as IaaC.

You will also troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments. This role offers ample opportunities to work with computing infrastructure for next generation data applications including scalable compute and storage hardware along with the latest cloud native and HPC technologies.

Responsibilities

Work with Product Teams to gather build and release process requirements

Implement automated processes to create and manage new testing environments

Create, Maintain and Monitor new CI / CD Pipelines and corresponding external systems

Identify Gaps and Improvements in existing Pipelines

Configure software Projects and Repositories

Deploy new SW versions and build packages to internal clusters

Required Qualifications

Experience in creating virtual machine images and / or containers

Proficiency in developing and maintaining CI / CD pipelines

Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code solutions such as Ansible, Chef or Terraform

Skilled in Linux and / or Kubernetes Administration

Technical expertise in one or more programming language (C# / Java / C++ / C / Python)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Motivated to learn new skills independently

Creativity in solving problems

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in scripting languages, such as bash and Python

Hands-on experience with server and network hardware and their configurations

Knowledge in cloud infrastructure software, including open source as well as from commercial off-the-shelf providers

Strong understanding of data processing and storage technologies such as SQL and / or NoSQL Database systems

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree and 1 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
