As an Automotive Center Manager, you are the person that our customers look to when they need help with their vehicle.
You are the person that our customers see every time they make an investment into their vehicle, because of these reasons you play a large role in building relationships with our customers.
Automotive Center Managers have the responsibility of taking our customer through the entire repair process, keeping them informed of the status of their vehicle and ensuring their satisfaction before they leave our facility.
The Center Manager is also the liason ensuring a work order is properly communicated to the technician and parts vendors accurately.
You will be responsible for receiving and processing any returns timely.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Greet every customer that enters our facility with hospitality and respect.
- Present the best solution to properly repair our customer’s vehicle in a way that is easy for them to understand.
- Manage the store’s workflow in an effective and efficient manner.
- Consistently and effectively sell our services without jeopardizing honesty and integrity.
- Maintain a positive attitude and team atmosphere at all times.
- Communicate on the phone in a clear, professional manner
- Build long-term relationships between the store, yourself and the customer.
- Directs, coordinates, and participates in performing customer service activities
- Develop Technical teammates to produce a consistent 5-star Customer experience .
- Ensure Center sales goals are achieved by assisting in the development and implementation of sales plans, thorough knowledge of services and products within the automotive industry.
- Promote relevant products and services to customers in efforts to gain their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Support teammates in establishing and maintaining a productive work environment by training and developing teammates on all aspects of shop operations and excellent customer services.
- Ensures the store is effectively staffed by managing employee scheduling.
- Promote discipline, self-awareness for technicians as they interact with customers.
- All technicians must focus on their respective service quality score to ensure consistency of the service. We must win over the customer’s TRUST!
- Assist in expense control through management of store supplies, proactive equipment maintenance to avoid disruption of service, accounting of all diagnostic equipment, tools and machinery.
- Ensure center inventory levels are in line with customer demand and consumption schedules. Ensure technicians are capturing all pertinent vehicle details, Service Order tracking and Customer Feedback.

Qualifications : Licenses, Registrations :
- Current driver’s licenses.
- Driving record acceptable to our current insurance carrier.
- Preferred Skills And Experience
- 3+ years of experience in aftermarket automotive repair preferred
- Proficiency in Windows based computer software and automotive store applications.
- Experience in automotive customer service and service sales
- ASE certification in service management or equivalent experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Associates degree or undergraduate degree
