A Mold Design Engineer job in Mishawaka, IN is available courtesy of Akkodis. This position is responsible for designing all new molds built internally as well as purchasing requisitions for all purchased components for mold projects.
Design and development of fixtures, assembly machines and injection molded part concepts will be required.
Pay : $75,000 - $85,000
Mold Design Engineer job responsibilities :
- Design molds and provide fully detailed drawings and geometry
- Participate in tooling build reviews to determine mold build expectations and generate internal tooling quotes
- Prepare external mold quote packages and communicate with outside sources
- Lead mold design review meetings and communicate changes / issues
Requirements :
- Bachelors Degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5 10 years experience in injection mold design
- Experience with cams, lifters, unscrew and hot runners
- CAD design proficiency
- Experience with release planning and creating user guides
