Unity Search has partnered with this very reputable real estate / asset management company in search for a Corporate Controller.
This role will have the opportunity to work in the office or work remotely! Also, this team works very well together!
Primary Responsibilities :
- Manage the finance team and overall financial operations
- Review financial statements ensuring accuracy
- Maintain and institute required accounting policies, procedures and controls
- Understand and assess new accounting pronouncements and implementation when applicable
- Oversee the accounting teams with respect to all month-end, quarter-end and year-end processes
- Provide senior management with management reporting, metrics and counsel, as necessary
- Provide Purchase Accounting support with respect to new acquisitions
- Perform other related duties as necessary
Requirements :
- 10+ years’ experience
- Large public accounting foundation preferred ideally coupled with real estate / asset management industry experience
- Good personality and strong written and verbal communication skills required
Compensation for this role will consist of a salary in the mid $100’s range plus a bonus putting the total compensation well into the upper $100’s.
