YOUR NEW ROLE AS A CATERING SERVICES SALES MANAGER
This is a full-time position with a typical schedule of Monday to Friday , with some weekends.
In this role, the Catering Services Sales Manager will be responsible for generating and managing catering sales, creating memorable events for our clients, and driving revenue growth.
You will develop and implement sales strategies to achieve catering revenue goals, identify and target potential clients through networking, cold calling, and other sales activities, and build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Coordinating and overseeing all aspects of catering events, including menu planning, logistics, and on-site event management are essential tasks.
Additionally, preparing and presenting proposals, contracts, and event details to clients, collaborating with the culinary team to create customized menus, and ensuring high-quality service will be part of the daily responsibilities.
Managing event budgets, conducting post-event evaluations, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings are key components of this role.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of experience in catering sales or event planning
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
