The Fleet and Facilities Representative provides essential maintenance at our facilities and manages a variety of fleet-related duties to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work :
Full-time (40 hours per week), non-exempt position. Occasional weekend work may be required.
Travel : Travel is not typical for this position.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
None.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Facilities Maintenance :
- Perform basic labor tasks across various Sonic facilities.
- Handle painting, cleaning, desk assembly, trash removal, light bulb changes, and general cleanup and organization.
- Stock consumables and maintain inventory levels.
Fleet Management :
- Clean vehicles and ensure they are in pristine condition.
- Distribute vehicle registrations and check vital fluids.
- Shuttle vehicles between locations as needed.
- Conduct vehicle cleanouts and other related tasks.
- Maintain an active California state driver’s license.
- Maintain a clean driving record as defined by the current Sonic fleet insurance underwriter.
