To Join a High-Performing and Collaborative Team : The SHC Histotechnician collaborates with general histology and specialized histology for the histology specimens generated for all Anatomic Pathology services.
Our HT’s partner closely with their operational leaders and with Stanford Pathology faculty to ensure high quality and timely diagnoses for our patients.

This is a Stanford Health Care job.A Brief OverviewEmbeds and cuts a wide variety of surgical and research tissue, including autopsy specimens, tiny biopsies, lymph nodes, breast tissue and bone marrow.
Sections paraffin embedded tissue at 1-7 microns and mounts on microscope slides. Performs a variety of staining techniques, including immunohistochemical procedures, for microscopic evaluation.

Base Pay Scale : Generally starting at $49.21 - $55.43 per hourThe salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
