International Customer Account Representative

Purpose
The purpose of the International Customer Account Representative (CAR) is to partner with outside sales to manage daily activities of their assigned customer accounts.
The CAR serves as the point of contact for customers’ requests and transactions and coordinates the fulfillment of shipping orders through Channel Prime Alliance’s infrastructure.
The objective of the position is to assist in the sales process, making transactions easier for both the sales team and customers, while operating within Channel Prime Alliance (CPA) guidelines and procedures.
The goal is to maintain current customer relationships and support the sales force.
Areas of Responsibility / Tasks
Performance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below.
- Essential Functions
- The Customer Account Representative will be the point of contact for their assigned outside Sales Representatives and corresponding customer portfolio
- Processes the customers’ purchase orders and all related requests Ensures the transaction meets shipment deadlinesProvides proper documentation and certifications related to the transactionsMaintains all customer specific information within operating system
- Coordinates order flow across multiple departments within CPA Follows set guidelines in submitting accurate and complete requests / paperwork to other departments by appropriate deadlines Works in conjunction with the Sales Representative to maintain customer pricing quotes so that customers are invoiced correctly at time of shipment to avoid post billing sales order adjustmentsWork with international bookings team to coordinate overseas shipments
- Communicates order status to customers, including backorder information, blanket order status, and future order confirmations Ensures new purchase orders and blanket orders from customers align with CPA policy, and take action to resolve discrepancies between the customer request and CPA policy Monitors and enforces existing orders per the terms of the agreement between CPA and the customers
- Contributes to the groups success by assisting with coverage during absences
- Actively problem solves by seeking better alternatives for performing assigned tasks by making rational assessments of options and reaching logical and accurate conclusions from available information

Minimum Qualifications / Education / Experience / Certifications
- Education :
- Bachelor’s degree or related training .
- Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience :
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience preferred
- Experience in distribution and supply chain preferred
- Licenses / Certifications : Valid driver’s license required
- Language : Proficiency in English requiredBi-Lingual Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
