Job Description
The Lead Power BI Engineer will collaborate with Providence’s Health Intelligence leadership to support the transition from Infoview to Power BI.
They will be responsible for helping get the Power BI Engineer who will also support this initiative up and running, and provide weekly status updated on their progress within report consolidation.
They will also be responsible for the assessment and consolidation of clinical and non-clinical reports, approximately 2,000 reports total to transfer from Infoview to Power BI, leveraging their background in Power BI and SQL.
Requirements :
- Experience with Power BI, Crystal reports, and SQL
- Must have experience with backend metadata and data modeling
- Experience assessing and consolidating reports in preparation for the power BI transition
- Experience with Epic and Epic Data models
- Ability to write reports in Power BI, experience with Snowflake
Soft Skills : Reliable / professional experience working from a 100% remote basis
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- MUST HAVE HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE

- What are the basics of conversions? When you’re presented with a report that has data behind it? What are the initial steps you take to get knowledge out of report and initiating writing report?
- Can you templatize? Can you provide with a reasonable template to reduce work?
