Aftermarket Parts Salesperson

We are looking for gearheads to join our 4 Wheel Parts retail store sales team!

Job Summary :

As an Aftermarket Parts Salesperson, you will play a pivotal roleon our dynamic team, servingas a subject matter expert focused onsales and customer service of aftermarket automotive components.

Responsibilities :

• Initiates excellent service by greeting, engaging, and connecting with all customers
• Drives sales by utilizing suggestive selling techniques and product knowledge to promote and sell additional parts and services
• Inform customers with questions and inquiries while communicating monthly sales and promotions
• Skillfully fosterscustomer relationships to cultivate loyalty and build customer retention through in-person interactions and social media
• Contributes to inventory control and shrinkage percentages by thoroughly organizing, monitoring, and displaying parts and products
• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and development of professional skill set
• Understands and adheres to all company policies, procedures, safety, and environmental rules
• Maintains store cleanliness and appearance to uphold a safe and secure work environment
• Work with your team to provide excellent customer service

We have multiple levels of sales roles available, depending on your experience.

Qualifications for Entry Level :

• Demonstrate novice proficiency in lift kit, wheel and tire application knowledge, and general aftermarket Jeep and Truck accessories
• Continually meet or exceed monthly targets in labor, merchandise, and warranty sales percentages
• Discover the essential steps of the sales journey including effective selling techniques and proven industry methods
• Proficiency with operating computer software, parts database, and point of sales systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and team lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to communicate professionally and clearly with both internal and external parties
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and work orders
• Must be able to work scheduled store hours at specific location

Qualifications for Intermediate Level :

Meets all qualifications above and candemonstrate intermediateproficiency in lift kit, wheel and tire application, intermediate aftermarket Jeep and Truck accessories, and demonstrate an understanding of selling techniques

Qualifications for Advanced Level :

Meets all qualifications above and candemonstrateadvancedproficiency in lift kit, wheel and tire application,advanced aftermarket Jeep and Truck accessories,drivetrain, and lighting knowledge, and possess theability to initiate the close of sale with minimal supervision

Qualifications for Senior Level :

Meets all qualifications above and candemonstrateexpertproficiencyin lift kit, wheel and tire application, advanced aftermarket Jeep and Truck accessories, drive train, and lighting knowledge, and be able to close the sale with no supervision

Work Environment :

• Customer-facing position in retail store (answering phones, using computers, point of sale, escorting customers around showroom floor)
• Occasionally interact with employees in the service department with concrete floors, industrial structure, vehicle lifts, workbenches / workstations, stationary and moving vehicles and other automotive workshop facility equipment
• May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and other service and repair conditions
• Working in various physical positions including standing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching,carrying, and lifting

Pay offered based on multiple individualized factors including retail location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Pay ranges based on a 40-hour work week. The total compensation package also includes a commission plan.
