Job Summary and Qualifications
The Senior Technical Publications Analyst works in conjunction with other education and healthcare professionals to improve learners’ performance with personalized, engaging, and relevant learning experiences.
These learning experiences ultimately influence the care of the patients HCA Healthcare serves.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Technical Publications Analyst should possess strong knowledge in technical writing, editing, and publication, and also specialize in the design, development, and publication of system documentation, online help, and development of training deliverables, including knowledge of the subject matter, online publication methodologies, and the usability and consumption of the information.
Knowledge of search trends, use of metadata to improve searchability, and acting as the customer advocate to HCA Healthcare end users.
Specific competencies include design and development of electronic systems documentation, integrated online help systems, and electronic simulations and demonstrations.
The Senior level position should also have knowledge of the audience, the structure and usage of the online delivery medium, knowledge management and content management methodologies.
In addition, knowledge of how these materials and information combine with training materials into a complete learning solution for the customer.
The Senior Analyst position serves as mentor to the Technical Publications Analyst I and II positions.
Duties may also include collaborating with peers in any combination of the following :
- Research and consult with all areas of IT and business partners for knowledge and system requirements.
- Audience definition, informational and instructional design.
- Collaborate with training staff in development of the learning experience, and software development concepts.
- Write and edit electronic content and online help.
- Perform Quality Management reviews for peers, ensure adherence to Learning CoE’s standards and our commitment to delivering high quality learning experiences.
What qualifications you will need :
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Technical Writing, Communication or Education - Required
EXPERIENCE
5 or more years of experience in Technical Writing, Communication, Business Analysis - Preferred
Or equivalent combination of education and / or experience could be considered
