Education & Work Experience Requirements :

• High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in similar setting preferred.

Position Summary : The Fitness Attendant is responsible for ensuring that the Fitness Center is clean, organized, and welcoming for all members.

This role involves maintaining the facility, assisting members, setting up and breaking down classes, and managing front desk duties.

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and be service-oriented to provide the highest level of member satisfaction.

Essential Responsibilities : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Ensure the cleanliness of all cardio and strength training equipment, as well as overall facility sanitation.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of Group Fitness classes. Monitor class schedules, attendance, and assist instructors as needed.
• Circulate the fitness floor to engage with members, answer questions, and help with equipment or services.
• Maintain the cleanliness and stocking of locker rooms, ensuring they are fully equipped for member use.
• Handle class registrations, training appointments, cancellations, and provide general member support.
• Ensure all Fitness Center rules and regulations are being followed and address any member concerns or policy violations.

• Hold current C.P.R. / A.E.D. certification
