Job Description
Position Summary : We are seeking a skilled PCB Electronics In-Circuit Test Engineer with expertise in Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA), and ISO 9001 standards.
This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining in-circuit test strategies to ensure the reliability and quality of our electronic products.
Key Responsibilities :
- In-Circuit Testing Development :
- Design and develop in-circuit test strategies and fixtures for PCB assemblies.
- Create and maintain test plans, specifications, and documentation.
- Collaborate with design engineers to identify test requirements and improve testability.
- SMT and DFMA :
- Apply knowledge of SMT processes to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement DFMA principles to improve manufacturability and reduce production costs.
- Quality Assurance :
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards throughout the testing process.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for test failures.
- Maintain accurate records of test results and quality metrics.
- Troubleshooting and Support :
- Troubleshoot and debug PCB assemblies, using a variety of testing equipment and methodologies.
- Provide technical support to production teams and assist in resolving production issues.
- Continuous Improvement :
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in test engineering and electronics manufacturing.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in in-circuit testing, particularly with PCB assemblies.
- Strong understanding of SMT processes and DFMA principles.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management standards.
- Proficiency in using test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, ICT testers).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
