What You'll do
In this role you'll report to the CFO. You will be critical to our business transformation effort, including business process redesign, understanding system design, partnering with the IT organization on system initiatives and supporting the ongoing needs of the Finance organization and the functions they support.
How you'll make an impact :
- Oversee management of our vendor management and procurement programs
- Oversee the finance systems & technology.
- Lead the Finance organization's operational excellence efforts.
What you can expect :
- Lead the Finance organization's operational excellence efforts around scaling processes, systems, and tools
- Evaluate existing financial processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to streamline processes. Implement best practices and standardize processes across the finance function.
- Responsible for Finance's system and technology strategy, works with relevant stakeholders to prioritize the initiatives / projects to implement the strategy, and regularly monitors progress towards the strategy
- Provides business direction and prioritization input for the production support docket, including communication of defects and system fixes to technology team, business analysts, and other business representatives
- Lead change management efforts associated with finance transformation initiatives. Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working
- Oversee the Bank's procurement function with a focus on DEI, managing cost and service standards for the Bank. Lead sourcing team to develop strategies for sourcing which align with the company's long-term strategic plan.
Seek out innovative sourcing options, building procurement strategies to maximize Bank value.
- Streamline vendor due diligence and vendor operations processes and ensure proper oversight through the entire vendor lifecycle.
- Manage the Bank's insurance program, overseeing insurance purchases to manage the Bank's risks
- Oversee the Bank's SOX program, collaborating with other teams to manage the Bank's control inventory and SOX program.
- Collaborate closely with other departments, including IT, operations, and business units, to ensure alignment and integration of finance transformation initiatives with broader organizational goals and objectives
- Mentor and develop team members, helping them develop their knowledge and competencies. Encourages teamwork, professionalism and high morale, throughout the department and the Bank.
- Creates efficiencies within work tasks to eliminate or reduce manual processes.
- Manages all staffing duties including : hiring / separations, performance management, staff development and day -to-day employee related issues
What you'll bring :
- 20+ years of experience and 8+ years of leadership / management
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree and / or CPA preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems, financial planning software, and business intelligence tools required. Workday experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of finance processes, systems, and best practices
- Experience in finance transformation, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or related roles, with a track record of successfully leading complex transformation initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, management, and coaching skills are a must.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven and results-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change and drive organizational culture transformation.
- Project management experience, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset, always seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
