Soliant Education, in collaboration with VocoVision, is seeking a qualified and dedicated Virtual School Social Worker to support students in New Mexico.
This position is perfect for a passionate social worker looking to work remotely while providing crucial services to students in need.
Position Details :
- Start Date : ASAP
- End Date : May 2024
- Caseload : Approximately 15 students
- Hours : 30 minutes per student per week, small group setting
- Additional Hours : Extra hours available on an as-needed basis for other students.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide small group sessions for a caseload of around 15 students, ensuring social, emotional, and behavioral support.
- Document services for Medicaid billing purposes.
- Take notes and maintain detailed records of student interactions and progress.
- Write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in IEP meetings.
- Collaborate with staff, families, and other stakeholders to meet student goals.
- Offer additional support to other students as needed.
Qualifications :
- Licensed School Social Worker in the state of New Mexico (or the ability to obtain one).
- Experience working in a school setting, preferably with virtual platforms.
- Familiarity with IEP processes and Medicaid documentation.
- Strong munication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
