Saxon Aerospace is currently hiring Aerospace Technicians (Assemblers) in Renton, WA for a temporary project.
As an Aerospace Technician / Assembler, you will work closely with other assemblers to connect components and construct mechanical products.
Technician / Assembler Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assemble and fit aircraft parts and structures using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Inspect and test assembled components to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications
- Repair or replace faulty components and parts using hand and power tools
- Using tools to make or repair parts and products.
- Interpreting technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
- Working with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products.
- Keeping a clean and tidy workspace.
- Meeting all safety requirements of the company and industry.
- Identifying any defective items and handling them according to established procedures.
Preferred Skills and Experience :
- 2+ years’ experience as an assembler
- Ability to use product documentation, schematics, and verbal / written instruction
Working conditions :
- Pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting
- Lifting and handling objects up to 40 pounds
- Standing for 10-12 hour shifts
Pay : $45 / hr
