We are searching for a talented RN - Operating Room

UP TO $12,000 NEW HIRE SIGN-ON BONUS*

Hours : 32hrs

Shift : Day / Eve Shift with variable shifts between 6am and 5pm. weeknight, weekend and holiday on call rotation.

Location : Operating Room - St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

• SIGN-ON DETAILS
• $12,000 with a minimum 3+ years of Operating Room nursing experience.
• $9,600 with 1+ years of Operating Room nursing experience.
• $8,000 with less than 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience OR 1+ years of hospital RN experience.
• Must be a new hire OR a rehire termed greater than 1 year to be eligible.

Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit.

Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• ACLS and PALS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Operating Room experience is required except during Periop 101 application period (Spring).
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Pay Range

USD $38.81 - USD $67.58 / Hr.
