WORK OBJECTIVE :
The Junior Design Specialist will create graphic materials used for a variety of educational, informational, and promotional purposes which includes, but is not limited to schedules, Authority wide wayfinding, various rider and traveler alerts, advertisements, and social media posts.
The Junior Design Specialist will work closely with the Senior Design Specialist. This position reports to the Marketing Manager, and work is performed under the daily direction of the Senior Design Specialist.

- Designs and produces graphics for a wide range of material for various business units.
- Update and support revision designs for NFTA-Metro schedules.
- Supports content generation for external and internal communications, including the website.
- Design graphics for social media ads and updates.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES :
Knowledge of graphics and digital design; skilled in preparing graphics and other material; ability to work on multiple projects in a demanding environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Tasks involve the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and / or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds).
ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS :
Work is performed in usual office conditions with rare exposure to disagreeable environmental factors.
