The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at TikTok helps ensure that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications.

We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.

About the TeamThe Team Lead performs a critical function that supports our efforts to address objectionable or disturbing content.

Team Lead may interact with images, video and text related to everyday life, but they can also include (but are not limited to) bullying;

hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; murder. It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content on a daily basis.

Responsibilities- You will lead, manage, recruit & develop a team of Content Moderators, helping them to achieve their full potential and maintain high standards & quality of work- You will be responsible for ensuring that all services are delivered within the framework of TikTok's core values and in line with existing policies & procedures- You actively promote and support inclusion, ensuring that individuals are supported to participate in community and work opportunities according to their interests and goals- You will create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture, utilizing clear goals and objective setting to help the team succeed

Minimum Qualifications- Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills with a passion for working in a team environment- Leadership skills with experience leading or managing people in a previous situation- Good attention to detail and comfortable using data analysis to identify trends- Driven and self motivated with a desire to keep improving Preferred Qualifications- Ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt to change, respond to day-to-day challenges- Commitment to self care and ability to manage emotional demands Trust & Safety recognises that keeping our platform safe for TikTok communities is no ordinary job which can be both rewarding and psychologically demanding and emotionally taxing for some.
