Exciting opportunity for a people operations / talent acquisition / human resources professional to join a rapidly scaling Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) company! ?? ??
With multiple anaerobic digestion facilities across the Midwest, they are now looking for a new People Operations and Talent Acquisition Specialist to work directly with the Director of People on optimising HR processes.
Location : Hybrid office work in Chicago, Illinois
Compensation : $90,000 - $105,000 base + bonus
Key Responsibilities :
1) Talent Acquisition Management
- Manage the full-cycle of recruitment for Corporate HQ roles (from posting jobs to negotiating offers)
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and book further interviews with hiring managers
- Track metrics / KPIs to measure the success of recruitment process
- Work with and manage relations with third-party recruitment agencies
2) People Operations
- Help create and implement People Ops programs with the Director of People, i.e. new onboarding, performance reviews, training
- Manage relationships with PEO / HRIS and Administrators
3) Policy Development & Compliance
- Ensure processes are compliant with federal, state and local employment laws
- Help develop, communicate and implement company-wide procedures
- Keep up-to-date with HR trends and news in the renewable energy industry.
Key Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years in People Ops / General HR with 3 years' specifically in talent acquisition
- Successful track record in full-cycle recruitment, ideally with technical roles
- Background in the RNG or broader renewable energy space
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment (start-up / venture-backed organisation)
- Proficient in HRIS / ATS systems, i.e. Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter
