Position Overview : Systems Administrator .

CU-Interface is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for Server Patching, Firewall / Switch Maintenance, Active Directory, M365 Administration, Windows Server Administration and Server / Infrastructure Support and Builds.

A successful person for this role would be someone who has a lot of internal motivation, pays close attention to detail, and has follow through skills and is a self-starter.

Basic Functions & Responsibilities :

• Assists with support of physical and virtual server environments.
• Documents, monitors, and audits those environments.
• Work within CU-Interfaces suite of productivity applications : Zoho Help Desk Ticketing, N-Central, ITGlue, Sentinel One, Microsoft 365 Portal.
• Provide maintenance to system and applications.
• Primary resource for server hardware and software issues.
• Provides supplemental system administrator support to IT Team.
• Assist with server patching for the enterprise environment.
• Active Directory Administration.
• Group Policy Administration.
• Folder and Share Security.

Essential Job Functions :

• Extensive Active Directory experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 products.
• Experience with N-Able / N-Central platform for RMM.
• Experience with Powershell.
• Experience with WSUS.
• Experience with patching large environments.
• Experience with various Server OS', Workstation OS' and Office products.
• Experience with Operating System Deployments.
• Experience with configuration and administration of Windows File and Print Servers.
• Working knowledge of IT Glue Documentation Management.
• Experience with Sonicwall Firewalls.
• Working knowledge of Aruba and Cisco switch products.
• Ability to communicate with clients, show patience and good oral communication skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills - Keep time and work on tasks efficiently.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred, relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
• A minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Systems Administrator / IT Engineer or similar role (required).
• In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Server platform and its components, including Active Directory, Windows Server 2012 and newer, failover clustering, certificate services and other related technologies.
• Microsoft Windows Server Hyper-V experience.
• Experience with installation, configuration, and administration of enterprise hardware including rack mount and blade servers.
• Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques.
• Prior experience in a field technician or on-site support role.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, auto insurance and willingness to travel to our client sites as required locally.

Physical Requirements : Must be able to sit or stand for the duration of the workday and complete heavy computer work. Must be able to occasionally lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Working Conditions : Temperature-controlled office and production environments. Occasional local travel may be required.

CU-Interface will provide transportation and cell phone to help expedite client support. There will also be weekly on-call rotations.
