Compensation : $200,000.00 - $260,000.00 / yr DOE
Job Description :
As a Bilingual Medical Doctor, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients while bridging language barriers and enhancing accessibility to healthcare services.
You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, culturally sensitive care to our diverse patient population.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough medical assessments, examinations, and diagnoses of patients in both Spanish and English languages.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Provide ongoing medical management and follow-up care to patients across various medical specialties.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers in Spanish, and English, ensuring clear understanding of medical conditions, treatment options, and instructions.
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Coordinate care with specialists, allied health professionals, and community resources to optimize patient outcomes.
- Stay updated on current medical practices, guidelines, and advancements through continuing medical education (CME) and professional development activities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence within the healthcare organization.
Qualifications :
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in New York.
- Board certification or eligibility in a primary care or specialty field.
- Fluent proficiency in Spanish, and English languages, with the ability to effectively communicate complex medical information.
- Strong clinical skills and diagnostic abilities, with a commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural competence to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Dedication to professional growth, continuous learning, and quality improvement in healthcare delivery.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Prior experience working in a multicultural healthcare setting.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Proficiency in medical interpretation and translation services.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
