Job Summary
Actual Homecare, LLC seeks a strong, compassionate, and reliable Male Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our team.
This role offers competitive hourly pay that will progress to long-term live-in and requires experience working with dementia clients.
The ideal candidate will provide essential care to our clients, assisting with daily activities and promoting their physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities :
- Provide direct care to clients, including personal hygiene assistance, mobility support, medication reminders, and daily living activities
- Assist clients with dementia, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being
- Monitor and record clients’ physical and emotional condition and report any changes to the supervising nurse or supervisor
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients
- Lift, transfer, and provide physical support to clients as needed
- Promote clients’ independence and self-care abilities through education and encouragement
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare team members
- Follow infection control measures and adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements :
- Valid Certified New Jersey Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification from an accredited program
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with dementia clients
- Physical strength and ability to lift and support clients
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate professionalism
- At least 5.5ft tall
