Salary : $20-$24 / hour
Position Overview :
The Technical Support Specialist is the crucial link between our cutting-edge technology solutions and our employees. A passion for technology and a service-minded approach will be pivotal in providing expert-level technical support, ensuring seamless operation, and resolving any IT-related issues that may arise in the US facilities.
This role is the point person in the US facilities for anything related to IT infrastructure, supported by a larger IT organization off-site.
Essential Job Functions :
- Provide level 1 and 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems with a service-minded approach.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components.
- Assist in inventory management and procurement of IT equipment.
- Create and update comprehensive documentation for IT procedures and knowledge base articles.
- Train users on proper use of hardware and software.
- Test existing equipment and programs, evaluating new systems and software for organizational benefit.
- Clearly communicate with managers and co-workers to ensure understanding of technology use and troubleshooting needs.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
- Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience in IT support roles.
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Experience with Office 365, Azure, and Active Directory strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% (OH facility at least once per quarter; occasional travel to AZ.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to alternate sitting, standing and walking up to 8 hours per day
Working Conditions :
Standard office environment with occasional exposure to the warehouse environment with moderate noise from power industrial trucks
