Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Transportation Engineer to be based in Ontario, CA.

Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.

Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.

Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.

Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.

Identifies discrepancies in results.

Provides guidance to entry level engineers.

Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

BA / BS + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education

Preferred Qualifications :

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) is strongly preferred2+ years of engineering experience after graduation

Ability to use Microstation, AutoCad or Civil 3D for plan production

Experience preparing plans for highway or civil improvement projects

Experience with InRoads and Open Roads is beneficial

Strong written and oral communications skills
