Job Description :
We are looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer to join our innovative team in Irving, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Android application development and a strong background in the banking and financial services industry.
This role offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a flexible blend of remote and on-site work.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications for the banking sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks in existing applications.
- Work closely with product managers and UX / UI designers to create user-friendly applications.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to Android development.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the team.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Android application development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Good understanding of the banking and financial services domain.
- Familiarity with mobile development frameworks and design patterns.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Knowledge of security protocols and best practices in mobile banking applications.
- Experience with hybrid app development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter) is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI / CD tools and practices.
