LEGAL COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST

Our client, a world-class global law firm, is seeking a motivated and determined Collections Specialist to join their team in Houston, Austin or Dallas TX.

Must have collections experience either from a law firm or professional services firm

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop strong relationships with clients and attorneys to determine the most effective collection strategies.
• Engage with clients in a professional and empathetic manner to negotiate and resolve outstanding debts.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of collection activities and client interactions.
• Assess and implement effective strategies to improve collections efforts.
• Provide regular reports and updates to management on collection progress and results.
• Effectively communicate AR information to the team and management.
• Harness advanced technology and tools to simplify the collections process and drive efficiency.

Qualifications :

• High emotional intelligence and exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Minimum of 5 years collections experience in either a law firm or professional services firm is required
• Knowledge of Aderant is a plus.
• Proficient in e-billing software.
• Ability to handle difficult conversations with tact and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with collection software and ability to quickly learn new software.
• A willingness to collaborate and the capability to work autonomously.
