  • 12-month contract to hire roles
  • Shift Monday-Friday 8 am to 5 pm

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions that meet the company's standards for quality and excellence.

This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Duties

  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software.
  • Conduct research to identify and develop new technologies and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with GLP and project management guidelines.
  • Create detailed designs and technical documents to support the development process.
  • Develop and implement tests and assays to validate the performance of mechanical designs.
  • Utilize Python programming language to create scripts and tools to support design and testing processes.
  • Apply mathematical principles to optimize mechanical designs and ensure that they meet performance requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mechanical design and testing.
  • Develop and maintain documentation to ensure that design controls are in place and that all processes are in compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in mechanical design and development.
  • Experience with CAD software and design controls.
  • Strong research skills and ability to identify and develop new technologies and processes.
  • Knowledge of GLP and project management principles.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Experience with assay development and testing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
