ABOUT THE COMPANY
San Diego-County based food & beverage client is seeking a full-time, Accounting Manager to provide hands-on and supervisory accounting support for the company.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Provide support in managing the accounting operations of the company
- Inventory tracking and other inventory control responsibilities
- Develop and analyze cost standards and recommend changes to reduce costs and maximize profits as needed
- Cash management
- Accurately perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end processes as needed
- Prepare journal entries and review department reports
- Other duties as needed
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- 5+ years of experience in accounting / finance or related field
- 3+ years of experience in management
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Active CPA preferred
- Prior experience in food & beverage industry required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
