OVERVIEW :

As a program manager, you will lead client engagements focused on operationalizing innovation in the federal market. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with senior government leaders and helping them foster an innovative culture that attracts emerging technology.

You’ll identify new and creative ways to connect the government with startup technology companies, help the government change the way they operate to be more agile and innovative, translate government use cases to private sector speak, and deliver our product offerings to impact government missions.

GENERAL DUTIES : Client Success

Client Success

Become a trusted advisor and partner for government clients as they work to bring innovative, agile, and integrate cutting-edge technologies into their missions

Establish clear client retention goals and milestones, consistently checking in on progress toward goals

Anticipate client needs and proactively craft solutions with support from the client success leadership team

Provide creative, novel perspectives and approaches to how the government operates in the areas of policy, acquisitions, finance, culture, and processes, in order to drive innovation and agility inside their missions

Ensure we deliver exceptional quality and superior value-add work to our clients on time and above expectations

Deliver workshops, write assessments and reports, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to help clients solve their toughest problems

Proactively collect feedback from the client, review client concerns, and improve the client experience

Contract Management

Review and understand contract terms and conditions to ensure the company is compliant with client contracts at all times

Continuously monitor risks and propose solutions for fast resolution

Implement strong communication plans with clients related to contract status, risks, issues, opportunities, etc.

Monitor contract spending, deliverables, and burn rates; work closely with leadership and operations to ensure timely invoicing and contracting actions

Implement solutions efficiency in delivery and ensure target profitability is met

Required Skills

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

4+ years of relevant work experience; preferably some experience working with DoD or the Army

The ability to analyze and visualize data for clients using statistical software, open source programming languages, or business intelligence tools

A keen ability to listen to clients and discern needs

Prior experience delivering and managing relevant government-facing client work

Strong understanding of contract management

Demonstrated experience and application in one or more of the following areas : government finance and budgeting, processes re-engineering, organizational design, policy, government culture-change, data analytics / visualization, and / or communications materials

The ability to work without being closely managed and the ability to continuously WOW

Ability to challenge client mindsets and offer alternative ways of approaching work while maintaining professionalism

Proven problem-solving, self-management, and organizational skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills
