Fully Remote position for a talented Data Engineer. Must be located in the U.S. and support PST.
Your mission? To empower our Strategic Planning team with a comprehensive, user-configurable market model that delivers detailed insights and forecasts, enabling them to make informed decisions and drive business growth.
As a Data Engineer, you will join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in revolutionizing our Strategic Planning activities.
You will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise in data ingestion, modeling, and visualization to create cutting-edge automated data pipelines and interactive data tools.

Hours : Core PST
Pay Rate Range : $45-50 / hr for minimum qualifications, a higher rate is negotiable DOE plus benefits. The offered compensation to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include (but are not limited to) the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement efficient data ingestion pipelines to seamlessly integrate various data sources, including volume, ASPs, costs, customer information, capacity forecasts, form factor projections, and industry analyst reports.
- Develop robust data models that capture the intricacies of our business, allowing for flexible configuration and scenario analysis.
- Craft user-friendly dashboards and data visualization tools, empowering our Strategic Planners to explore data from multiple perspectives, such as customer, product, NAND type, ASIC type, and market share analysis.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Finance, to ensure data accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Continuously enhance and optimize data processes, leveraging best practices and cutting-edge technologies to drive efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications :
- Proven expertise in data modeling, with a deep understanding of database design principles and data warehousing concepts.
- 2+ years of experience in SQL, with proficiency in writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.
- Hands-on experience in implementing ETL or ELT processes, preferably using Azure Data Factory or Apache Airflow.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure ecosystem and cloud-based data solutions (desired).

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively to overcome technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
