THE ORIGINAL PANCAKE HOUSE
We are looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our growing team! You will be preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes for restaurant guests to enjoy.
We are a breakfast-only restaurant : early mornings required, no evenings. Both part-time and full-time positions available.
Early mornings are required (6 : 30 AM) & weekend availability is expected. The Original Pancake House is open 7 days / week from 7 : 00 AM-2 : 00 PM Monday-Friday and 7 : 00AM- 3 : 00PM Saturday and Sunday.
closed on Thanksgiving & Christmas Day.

This is a Tipped position and those will be distributed on your paycheck.
Paychecks are distributed weekly.
Food Handlers card will required.

Ideally, you have your Serve-Safe or Food Handler’s certification.
Responsibilities :
- Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
- Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock
- Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
- Season and cook food according to recipes
- Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking
- Respond to guest and team feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism
Qualifications :
- Previous experience as a restaurant cook preferred
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification (or must be willing to attain)
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to lift 30+ lbs
- Ability to work standing for 8+ hours
