We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our IT team onsite in Sacramento. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cisco routing and switching, LAN / WAN configurations, and fundamental networking principles.
This role involves managing and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure reliable and efficient connectivity across the organization.

About the Role :
Key Responsibilities :
- Network Management : Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and related equipment.
- Cisco Routing & Switching : Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- LAN / WAN Configuration : Design, implement, and manage local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration files, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Support & Troubleshooting : Provide technical support for network-related issues, working to resolve problems in a timely manner and coordinating with other IT staff as needed.
- Vendor Management : Liaise with network equipment vendors and service providers to manage equipment procurement, service contracts, and technical support.
- Network Upgrades : Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration, with hands-on experience in Cisco routing and switching.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco network devices, understanding of LAN / WAN technologies, and familiarity with basic networking concepts and protocols (e.
g., TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP).
Analytical Skills : Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, vendors, and end-users.
