We are seeking an experienced and fast-paced Head Bartender with NYC experience to lead our bar team and maintain high standards in both service and inventory management.
Job Responsibilities :
- Lead the bar team and ensure smooth, efficient service during high-volume shifts
- Create and serve cocktails to a high standard, maintaining consistency and quality
- Manage bar inventory, track usage, and maintain accurate PAR levels
- Develop and implement cocktail menus with seasonal or signature drinks
- Train and mentor junior bartenders and barbacks
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Handle customer interactions professionally and address any concerns
- Assist with ordering, receiving deliveries, and organizing stockrooms
- Work closely with management to ensure bar profitability
Requirements :
- Minimum of 3 years of bartending experience in NYC or a similar high-volume setting
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation, mixology, and spirit varieties
- Experience with managing bar inventory, creating PAR levels, and reducing waste
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
