Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

  • Estimated annual base pay : $114,000(minimum) - $142,500(midpoint) - $171,000(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Corporate Environmental Health & Safety Regional Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

This position is a subject matter expert with an organization-wide focus that provides global / regional support and guidance on a wide array of EHS matters.

The EHS Regional Manager retains ownership / accountability for development and implementation of global EHS policies, procedures, and management systems with a focus on standardization, centralization, and building best practices.

This position assures advancement of Woodward global EHS strategies, supports risk reduction and operational productivity enhancement.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Accountable for program design and deployment of EHS data collection systems for global data trending and best practice sharing.
  • Supports oversight of various site's compliance to EHS regulations and standards as promulgated by regulatory agencies through periodic on-site compliance audits and inspection / monitoring programs.

Leads and / or participates in routine site audits in the global compliance audit program (2-4 per year).

Implements short-term and long-term functional EHS goals / objectives and holds primary responsibility for tactical implementation of corporate EHS initiatives and programs.

May be responsible for an area of EHS specialty, providing advice, expertise, and support to global operations.

  • Accountable and responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and maintaining enterprise internal / external EHS compliance programs, procedures, practices, functional training curriculum programs, including the development and implementation of an internal global audit program.
  • Participates in the work of developing and implementing the enterprise Woodward EHS framework element standards and practices.

Evaluates and monitors program effectiveness, and regularly reviews and updates enterprise standard operating procedures for the management system framework.

Promotes effective culture and communication programs in accordance with the long-term strategic plan to enhance and encourage member awareness of health, safety, and environmental compliance, and drive change necessary for continuous improvement .

What We Are Looking For

  • US - Bachelor's Degree in Arts / Sciences (BA / BS)in Safety, Occ. Health, Industrial Hygiene, Physical Science / Engineering
  • Masters Degree in a Science- or EHS-related discipline preferred
  • 10 plus years in combination of operations / EHS roles, with 3- 5 years of active, demonstrated leadership in leading and developing small teams
  • 3 plus years experience in a corporate / global leadership role preferred
  • 3 plus years of success and experience leading area of EHS expertise preferred
  • Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
