Position Summary : Project Engineer - Controls will be part of a multidisciplinary project team whose role is to produce functioning water, wastewater, and process separation solutions.
The role of Project Engineer - Controls in the team is industrial automation programming for chemical process equipment control.
Core Competencies :
- Experience with Rockwell Studio 5000 development software (PLC and HMI)
- Ethernet network design specification (physical media and configuration)
- Familiarity with chemical process systems particularly the ability to read P&ID and develop control narrative.
Position Responsibilities :
- PLC / HMI application program development
- Industrial network design (primarily Ethernet)
- Factory acceptance testing
- Site support for commissioning activities (
- Participation in development and maintenance of in-house programming standards
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
Desired Skills :
- Experience with Siemens S7, Comfort Panel, and TIA Portal programming.
- Industrial control panel design (wiring and layout).
- Electrical controls troubleshooting
