Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our fee-for-service dental practice.
We are searching for someone with an impressive track record of dental management and leadership. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of healthcare management, and the ability to foster a positive environment for both staff and patients.
This role requires excellent organizational skills, administrative and clinical dentistry knowledge, and demonstrable management and communication skills.
Ideal Candidate Experience and Qualities :
- Experience in both clinical and administrative dentistry
- Understanding of office systems
- Experience with HR and systems to attract and retain high quality staff members
- Ability to generate reports to monitor the health of the practice.
- Experience with managing, training and communicating with staff in all aspects of dentistry including phone skills and scripts, diagnosis and treatment planning, treatment presentation and scheduling, finance options and collection monitoring.
- Experience and ability to lead productive meetings
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of the dental office, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal patient experience.
- Supervise administrative staff, providing training and support as needed.
- Oversee appointment scheduling, patient records management, insurance verification and claim follow-up processes, treatment presentation and scheduling.
- Training and Implemention an office systems to enhance operational efficiency and improve patient care.
- Conduct and lead meetings
- Collaborate with dental professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
Requirements
- Proven experience in office management within a dental setting.
- Demonstrable track record of successful dental office systems and protocols.
- Very familiar with dental insurance, the art of the phone call, comfortable with treatment presentations.
- Leadership experience and training.
- Dental clinical experience and knowledge.
- Dentrix software knowledge preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating leadership capabilities. Comfortable giving instructions and delegating.

Expected hours : This is a Monday-Friday position, half-day Friday. 49 weeks annually.
