VWC, a local CPA firm is seeking a full-time Audit Senior Accountant to join our team.

About the work :
- Managing and overseeing client audit engagements, including preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets, and managing workpapers.
- Training and supporting junior staff to help develop their skillset.
- Tackling unique projects that our clients need support with.
- Building relationships with great people!
About you :
- CPA preferred; must be eligible for CPA.
- 2+ years of experience in the audit division of a public accounting firm.
- Expert knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications, including complex Excel spreadsheets.
- Self-starter, organized, with an eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player who collaborates with others.
- Ability to pass a background check upon receiving and accepting an employment offer.
What’s in it for you?
- The wage range for this position is $75,000 $125,000 depending on experience.
- VWC offers the following benefits to employees 1st of the month following the date of hire :
- Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Long Term Disability, EAP, and a safe harbor 401k match.
- VWC pays the total premium for the plans for employees; dependents may be added on a self-pay basis.
- Employees are eligible to accrue up to 160 hours of PTO each year.
- The Company is closed for 7 holidays and offers 2 additional Floating Holidays.
