Sr Product Manager - Tech, Authorization Management, Amazon Security

Mediabistro
Austin, Texas, us
Full-time

Description

Establish the vision and design products that secure access to customer data through robust authorization solutions, log relevant access events for traceability, and define monitoring rules to detect and highlight anomalous access activities.

This is what is needed at Amazon to maintain customer trust and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Our organization is responsible for setting and upholding a high standard of security across all of Amazon’s products and services.

In Stores Security, we develop authorization solutions using attribute-based access control (ABAC) to enable Amazon to enforce fine-grained access control (FGAC) on sensitive data.

We create logging solutions that generate access events from thousands of services for evidence collection. Additionally, we implement rule-based and machine learning systems to monitor access to customer data, detect anomalous activities, and demonstrate compliance.

We have a rare opportunity to engage with multiple Amazon organizations and groups of experienced tech leaders to build products with impact at an impressive scale.

Key job responsibilities

As a Product Manager Technical, you will be responsible for defining business requirements, shaping the customer experience, and setting the product vision.

You will manage the entire product lifecycle, navigating ambiguity, mitigating risks, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

With a strong technical background and exceptional product management skills, you will think strategically, communicate effectively, and collaborate with diverse teams to drive innovation and deliver high-impact solutions that delight customers.

If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about using technology to solve complex challenges, this role could be the ideal opportunity for you.
