Patent Agent Opportunity in Boston
Law firm's Greater Boston office seeks an experienced Biotech / Life Sciences Patent Prosecution Agent that has a superb biotechnology background and is seeking greater responsibility and a wider variety of IP / Patent matters for a broad range of clients.
Responsibilities :
Your work will include drafting patent applications and responding to office actions along with some potential opportunities to handle prior art, evaluating and strategizing on patent portfolios, performing due diligence, litigation support and licensing.

Qualifications :
- The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant law firm experience in the life sciences prep and pros arena.
- Registered to practice before the USPTO with an advanced degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry or Immunology is desired.
- Technologies may include mRNA, CRiSPR, and cell therapy.
- Superb academic credentials.
- Work directly with top-tier clients.
Salary and Benefits :
The expected annualized base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on USPTO registration, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
