ETIC (headquartered in Pleasant Hill, CA) is seeking professional, safe, talented, experienced and self-motivated Heavy Equipment Operator.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Safely and efficiently operate small to midsize heavy equipment that may include : excavators, dozers, backhoes, articulated dump trucks, water trucks, front end loaders, skidsteers, forklifts, etc.
Perform pre and post-operation inspections of equipment in accordance with standard safety and company policy measures. Monitor equipment constantly to ensure proper running condition in order to avoid down time, clean and maintain as needed.
Work closely with and under the direction of a Foreman / Superintendent. Additional duties will include general labor as needed.
Shoveling, BMP installation and other activities associated with daily project related performance.) Ensure that all field procedures and safety protocols are followed in compliance with ETIC and client-specific requirements.
Successful Candidates Should Have : 2 -5 years of verifiable Equipment Operating Experience. Proven track record of safely and effectively operating a wide variety of construction equipment.
General knowledge of equipment maintenance to problem solve issues and prevent equipment malfunctions or deficiencies. Great hand-eye coordination.
