About the Role :

We're on the hunt for a Litigation Associate to join our client's high-profile litigation practice in Washington, DC . The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience handling complex litigation matters and be skilled in legal research, brief-writing, document production, and discovery.

This role offers a dynamic opportunity to work on significant litigation matters and to contribute to the growth of the practice through client development activities.

Your Mission :

• Handle all aspects of complex litigation matters , including legal research, brief-writing, and running document production.
• Manage and execute discovery processes.
• Collaborate with the litigation team to support pretrial, trial, and appellate efforts .
• Contribute to client development activities such as writing articles, attending speaking engagements , and more.
• Provide exceptional client service and work closely with colleagues across disciplines to meet business goals.

Core Competencies :

• Complex Litigation Expertise : Proven experience handling complex litigation matters, including discovery and brief-writing.
• Client Development : Ability to contribute to client growth by participating in articles, speaking engagements, and other activities.
• Communication & Collaboration : Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in team settings.
• Organizational Skills : Strong ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage competing responsibilities.

What You Bring :

• Juris Doctor (JD) or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted in District of Columbia and Maryland .
• 4+ years of experience handling complex litigation matters.
• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a professional demeanor when working with clients.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail .
• Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings .
