Duties & Responsibilities :
- Prioritize safety and proactively follow safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a safe and clean job site
- Complete Job Site Assessments and participate in / lead daily safety meetings with all crew members upon arrival to job site
- Responsible for onsite customer interaction and service
- Responsible for onsite electrical and mechanical work while maintaining quality assurance and control
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing renewable energy systems, including battery systems
- Perform maintenance on renewable energy systems, including battery systems
- Communicate respectfully and clearly with all customers, vendors, and team members
- Responsible for the learning and training of other service technicians
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
Required Qualifications :
- Ability to work safely in accordance with OSHA and Company safety standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proven track record in solar and battery installations and troubleshooting
- Attention to detail
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and drug test
- Ability to perform heavy lifting / pushing / pulling of material weighing up to 75 pounds
- High level of comfort working on roofs and at heights
- Working knowledge and experience in residential and commercial renewable energy systems commissioning.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with little supervision and work well with others
- Knowledge of MS office programs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Preferred Qualifications :
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in solar installation
- Good understanding of local and national electrical codes
- Electrical apprenticeship or Journeyman preferred
Job Details :
- Job Type : Full Time
- Monday - Thursday work week - 4 x 10 hour days with opportunities for overtime pay
- $28-32 per hour depending on experience
- Quarterly safety bonus
